Good Evening BHS Students and Families,

As we prepare to open our schools this coming Monday, we are continuing to prepare our campus to ensure a safe student environment.  Whether you will be joining us through Campus Learning or Campus eLearning, we welcome you back and are looking forward to having you with us!  Several important points are outlined below:

  • Student schedules are posted in student portal.  We ask that you log in to both your portal and your email to ensure accessibility.  Should there be questions regarding the schedule, please email your child’s counselor.  We ask that you be patient as we work through questions and concerns.
  • If you have not already updated your child’s emergency contacts, we ask that you click on the link below to do so.  It is imperative that we have at least two accurate contact numbers for every student.

Emergency and Contact Information

  • To minimize sharing of materials, the distribution of textbooks will be limited, with digital textbooks used when possible.  Therefore, we recommend that campus learning students bring their own laptops, with chargers.  Please note that students, not the school, will be responsible for the safety of their own devices.

We will see you Monday!

Greetings BHS Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Bartow High School! Whether your child is enrolled in our Campus Learning or Campus eLearning, we are looking forward to having them with us! Our staff has been busy preparing the campus to ensure a safe educational environment for the return of our students. Recognizing the uncertainty during this pandemic, we need your assistance in updating student contact records. Please click on the link below and provide the information requested so that your child’s emergency contacts are accurate.

EMERGENCY AND CONTACT INFORMATION

In addition to observing district safety protocols, we will be implementing an alternating A/B block schedule, as well as providing four lunch periods to greater accommodate social distancing.

· It is important to note that masks are required at all times while on the campus. They must fit snug to the face, covering the nose and mouth entirely.

· Social distancing will be in place throughout the school day.

Parents, we appreciate your support in having conversations with your students regarding these critical safety precautions. Please view our website for clarification.

If you have not yet designated whether your child will be engaged in Campus Learning or eLearning, please contact the school guidance office—through email or phone call—and let us know so that we can ensure accurate schedules for our students.

We appreciate your continuing to monitor our school website and social media for upcoming events as we reopen.

Thank you.
