The Summerlin Academy Equestrian program is a four year progressive curriculum that combines equine science and equitation. In this hands on curriculum, cadets develop the skills needed on the ground to be successful in the saddle. During the riding sessions, cadets receive individualized riding instruction geared to their riding ability. Instruction is based on Dressage training. Outside of the class time, there is are other opportunities for riding experience and instruction through participation as an Equestrian Team member, participation in riding clinics conducted by USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals and graduate of the British Riding Academy, Greta Wrigley and limited opportunities to exhibit rising skills in the show ring.
